Fully automatic non-contact tonometer and pachymeter
The tonometer is combined with the pachymeter to form a two-in-one device.
Information on the actual thickness of the cornea is extremely important. Without it, IOP measurements can be erroneous, which can delay a glaucoma diagnosis. Unless taken into account, a thicker cornea leads to an overestimation of IOP; a thinner cornea, to an underestimation of IOP.
At the touch of a button, the examination is performed fully automatically - from alignment to printing - on both eyes.
Compensated IOP
Knowing the central corneal thickness (CCT) is vital for calculating the true intraocular pressure: compensated IOP. The TX-20P automatically calculates compensated IOP according to ECC.
