Clinical Use
The TNO test is used, in particular, to screen for binocular vision abnormalities, measure stereoscopic acuity, and monitor certain cases of strabismus or amblyopia.
The lower the measured value in arcseconds, the better the stereoscopic perception.
Test Composition
The standard set includes 7 charts: stereoscopic screening, suppression testing, and quantitative measurement ranging from 480 to 15 arcseconds.
