How to add your ad?

To add your ad:

  • Click on « Add a device ».
  • Fill in the whole form with the requested info.
  • Choose relevant title and description to optimize your device sale.
  • Add quality photos to make your ad more attractive.

An ad with photos is viewed 7 times more than an ad without any picture.

  • Subscribe or login to your personal account
  • And click on « Submit listing ».

An email notification will be sent to you to notify you that your ad has been taken into account by Ophtazon and will be reviewed within 24h. Once reviewed, another email notification will sent to inform you thtat your device is either online or pending for modifications.

While adding an ad, a personal account will be automatically created on Ophtazon (except if your email address does already exist).

How to subscribe to an alert?

If you do not find the device you are looking for, you will be able to add an alert while researching a product, by clicking on “Subscribe to alerts“.

There, you will be able to set alert filtering each products regarding your needs.

Once set, an email notification will be sent once a device meets your requirements and is available on Ophtazon.

Where to access to my alerts?

To access to all your alerts, you will need to login to your personal account and click on “My alerts“.

From there, you will have an access to all your alerts.

How can we reserve the machine?

A 20%-deposit is required to reserve the machine. The machine is blocked for one week. The balance must be paid before shipment or installation.

Is there any warranty on the equipment sold?

The buyer benefits from a six-months warranty on the equipment sold if the machine is under 8. Otherwise you can ask for a warranty extension to our sales department.

What is the settlement period when OPHTAZON has sold my equipment?

Once the technical check up successfully completed, OPHTAZON proceed with payment right after.

Is it allowed to sell broken down machines?

Yes of course but only if it’s clearly mentioned within the sale ad.

What is the list of countries where OPHTAZON can ship devices?

OPHTAZON ships goods all over the world if the local regulation allows importation of used equipment.

Who is taking care of customs clearance?

The buyer must take care of customs clearance and pay customs fees if there is.

What are the procedures to be followed if machines are not registered by MOH (Ministry of Health) in my country?

Contact the manufacturer or the MOH to get more informations about the registration process in your country.

How can I know if the medical device is registered by the MOH and then if we can import it?

Contact your local agency which manages importation authorizations in your own country.

Can I choose my own forwarder to manage the importation of goods?

Of course, OPHTAZON recommends you to find the best contact to avoid lengthening the customs process and delaying the delivery.

Does OPHTAZON offer the possibility to store the devices during the sale process?

Of course, we can keep your machines on consignment during the sale. Cost is 20€ a month per machine and 50€ a month for ophthalmic tables.

Can I send the machine purchased back?

Yes within three days if delivery in France. Within one week after reception if delivery abroad. All fees are supported by the client.

Can we cancel the sale after giving a deposit?

Yes, you can. Only fees engaged by OPHTAZON will not be refund.

Can I withdraw my ad from website at any time?

Yes of course and without extra charge.

Can I send the machine purchased back?

Yes within three days if delivery in France. Within one week after reception if delivery abroad. All fees are supported by the client.

What is the average delivery time in France and abroad?

In France, the delivery time is 10 working days. For shipments abroad, 20 working days is the maximum time to prepare the shipment.

What is the date taken into account as start of warranty period?

The invoice date is the first day of warranty period.

What are the payment terms?

Only cash in advance, prepayment or PayPal transactions are accepted by OPHTAZON.

What is included in the final price?

Shipping costs, setup and trainings are not included. Ask for a quote should you need the setup/commissioning or trainings (contact@ophtazon.com)

What is the commission to be paid if we have selected the Option N°1?

3% of selling price is charged to the seller to get buyer contact details. Only payments via PayPal or wire transfer are accepted.

What is the net selling price when we have selected the Option N°2?

The seller determine the net selling price. This amount will be paid to seller if the machine is sold.
