NIDEK SC-1600P (SC-1600 Pola) — Key Features
1. Device Type — High-definition LCD visual testing screen designed for: measuring distance visual acuity, subjective refraction, binocular testing, stereoscopic testing, and contrast sensitivity measurement. CE Class I medical device.
2. Screen/Display: High-resolution 17-inch SXGA LCD, very stable image and uniform white background, deep blacks for precise contrast, clear display even on small optotypes, white/black inversion function.
The system provides highly accurate rendering of Landolt letters and rings, useful for post-refractive surgery and post-cataract surgery examinations.
3. Displayable visual acuity range from approximately 0.04 to 2.0 equivalent: 1/25 up to 20/10
=> fully covers standard refraction testing and high-acuity checks.
4. Programmable refraction distance: adjustable from 2.50 m to 6.00 m, adjustable in 1-cm increments, built-in mirror mode for rooms with mirror reflection
certain M versions up to 7 m.
This allows for automatic calibration of the optotype size based on the actual working distance.
5. Pola technology = polarized dissociation
The SC-1600P = SC-1600 Pola features: a built-in polarized LCD screen, operation with 45°/135° polarized glasses, and the ability to perform: binocular vision tests, stereotests, fusion tests, and right-eye/left-eye dissociation tests.

The device can be controlled via: a dedicated infrared remote control (optional), synchronization with NIDEK automatic refractors: RT-3100, RT-5100, RT-6100, and NIDEK AOS systems
